Kiwis captured on camera

About US

We (Colin and Raewyn) are keen photographers with an eye for a good image.

We are very much focussed on family. We have three children, all over 15. We're mad about mountain biking, interested in travelling and having adventures near and far, and are both keen photographers. We've spend many years capturing our lives together on film and then computer when the digital age came along.

Raewyn - I've had a camera in my hand since I was 11. Some would say it is part of my anatomy and find it very unusual if I don't have one on me.

Since the age of digital photography the fun has increased with the cost of experimenting limited to the space available on my computer. A whole computer hard drive is dedicated to photos.

I have two cameras and a few lenses. Nothing flash, I have to split my hobby money between taking photos and doing things kiwis do, like tramping, kayaking and mountain biking. I've just purchased the D90 and so far love it.

I have a Nikon D70s and D90 fitted with one or other of these lenses:

- Nikkor 18-55mm DX
- Nikkor 55-200mm DX
- Nikkor 50mm 1.8D

Colin - I have a camera also. Although not as flash as my wifes it is waterproof which makes it an important part of our active lives and can go 'everywhere' with us to capture our best family moments in the wild.

My camera is the Olympus 850 SW.

Join this all together and we have this website. A place to share some of our finest captured kiwi moments.
