About 300 kids had a go at mountain biking at the Meridian Energy Kids Bike Jam held in Palmerston North in May. It is so awesome seeing so many kids having fun on a bike.

I've been somewhat slack with my photo-of-the-day entries. Time to resurrect myself....I'll start with this beauty, the view from our holiday home lounge in Ohakune over Easter.

On foot!

I can't believe our luck, only 4 days of really good weather this school holidays and we choose them to go tramping at Nelson Lakes National Park.

What stunning views, a bit wet underfoot which made it interesting but superb all the same.

A Feilding High School girls team battle away in the pouring rain for a midweek night game.
